Does anyone out there need care in this medical field? My fiancee is in this field and Iam starting to do his marketing. I wanted some input from you the actual patients out there, What is important to you in finding the right provider? What TLC gives you support? what dont you like in the care of your current provider? We strive to be "Quality Care with a Heart" I am just basically starting an open forum discussion to take your opinion to heart!!! thanks in advance!!

I have noticed that health care providers are sometimes not up to date on how much things are costing these days. So many people have lost their jobs and/or insurance that they have trouble paying for the medications their doctor prescribes for them. Patients are sometimes reluctant to discuss with their doctors their financial concerns. Patients are then intimidated by the lack of understanding and they give up and end up not getting the kind of care they need. I personally have confessed to my doctor the trouble I have paying for some of the meds that I take. He has worked with me to find lower costing alternatives to the meds that I was previously taking. So your fiancee might want to set up a staff that will try to determine the financial concerns of the patient. I hope this helps!

Ears that listen and a mouth that engages in conversation without condescending. This I have found is very lacking in health care providers. I have finally found a doctor that will work with me. He takes the time to listen to me and I have even asked him to post pone prescriptions to give me more time to allow my diet and exercise to work for me. I feel like I am on his team instead of his helpless patient.
