I have a few of them. How is it that you get them and is there a way to get rid of them without going to the doctor?

Thanks for the info. I have a lot of them and my last doctor wanted to charge me a lot to have them taken off. I will ask this new doctor. I thought there might have been some new cream or freeze off stuff to get rid of them. I saw that freeze off stuff for warts and thought maybe that might work but didn't want to experiment.

Jeannie i have heard of people just cutting them of themselves. My mom told me she sterilized some nail clippers and cut it off with that.. No the best thing to use but she said it worked. I would not recommend this.

I am not sure what causes them. I have had a couple of big ones removed in the doctors office. The little ones I have just learned to live with them.

It's just another sign of getting older. The doctor can remove them in his office during a regular visit.

I would not recommend trying to remove them on your own. The doctor would be able to freeze them and remove them without scarring and potential for infection. Otherwise just leave em!!!
