Diabetic Connect Badges

I've noticed a few bloggers (My Diabetic Heart for example) who have a Diabetic Connect badge on their blog, but can't find any info here on where to get the code (TuDiabetes makes it very easy). Seems like a good way to get more eyes on the site, which is always a helpful thing for an online community that trades in information/experience. Anyone know?

Gabby is right, when we launched our major site upgrade a few months ago, the badges page fell by the wayside.

We'll look at bringing back the page with the simple code to add to your blog or website. Thanks for the input.

We used to have badges when we connected them to points. Now I am not seeing one set up for new members. I have a question in to John for that. When we changed the format of the site, it might have just been overlooked.

I would love to have some badge/banner choices for my FMS site. I'm not sure the point of the points here, but the badges/banners don't necessarily have to be linked to points. Just the one-way link back to DC from various places on the net is a SEO bonus to help make sure DC is well-placed in the SERPs. *grins* Sorry, the internet marketer in me coming out. =)

It is a great idea and I know many people use them to reach out to others. It looks like John has it in the works now, so keep your eyes open for one.

Hmmm, good question. After reading your post, I took a tour of some of the lesser traveled pages on this site and no mention of a badge (banner).

Just went to the My Diabetic Heart blog. If you know how, you can save the image to your computer, get it hosted somewhere (your own blog/website, photobucket, etc), and link it to your profile here at DC.

When you click on the link on that blog, it basically goes to a custom 404 page. It's like DC took down their badges. *shrugs*
