Last week I was in the bathroom washing my hands and felt a little dizzy. Next thing I know was that the next morning my ex told me he put me too bed because he heard a loud crash. I fainted and hit my right breast on the edge of the sink. I was in pain and 2 days later I found a huge bruise under my breast and my ribs were hurting something aweful. at this time I'm still feeling pain when I breathe and my ribs as well. I took x-rays and there were no signs of anything broken or fractured. Thank-God. I've put ice packs and took muscle relaxers but they make me drowsy. Any suggestions or advice. I'd appreciate it.

God! It's good your hubby was there with you. I used to just faint away when I was a teenager. In those days I had HYPOglycemia.

Get some rest and take care of yourself. Please tell your doc about the fainting spell. I brusied my ribs once, the pain was awful. Be careful.

My mom fell about a year ago and fractured a couple of ribs. She said the pain was so bad she had to talk to the doctor about pain pills. That is unusual for my mom, but it was a hard fall. It's not like you can put your rib cage in a sling. You know not breathing is just not an option. LOL They could not really do much for her ribs but tell her to rest and don't lift anything. She took it easy for a while, but it drove her nuts.

So take it easy, get some rest, no running laps or baw-hawing at comedy shows. That smarts too. I hope you are feeling better soon

LOL…I used my tens unit and heating pad for half hour After I turned it off I took a nap. Going to talk to the Doctor on my next visit. Because it's occuring often, and being by myself when Mr man works is scary enough.

Hi Harlen and thanks for your reply. Actually this fainting spell has been coming on often than it should, sometimes my sugar goes too low, but it's not all the time when i faint. I guess I'll let my doctor know about this on my next visit. It's scary just thinking of what could happen when no one is around. Anyway I got my 10s unit out and my heating pad , used it for about half hour then shut them both off and took a nap.
