Would allergies keep the blood sugar level up? I have all year allergies. And I work in a building that is old and no air movements through out the building. The boys do not believe in keepingthemselves clean. There are nights that the smell of pee is so strong I need to stay by the window to breath. Please let me know. Thanks Dale

The most common cause of food allergies is Candida overpopulation, which is something we diabetics are very prone to. Our beneficial bacteria ratios are reduced by medications, particularly antibiotics (prescribed or in meat products), over-the-counter drugs like Tylenol, Ibuprofen, and Alleve, and inflammation,
Parasites are another problem that we diabetics are prone to, especially if we have pets. Parasites can cause allergies as well.
Both indirectly cause blood sugar management problems. Candida and Parasites produce toxins that are acidic. Our body creates fat cells and fills them as a place to store acidic substances to get them out of the bloodstream.
Candida overpopulation results in yeast fungi drilling holes through the intestinal wall, which allows small particles of food to leak through. The body creates antibodies to attempt to deal with them which causes the food allergies.
I used to have severe allergies. I went to doctors for years and got shots to deal with them, which did very little. I researched it and conducted cleanses and used a hydrogen peroxide treatment (35% food grade) which totally eliminated the parasites and Candida and the allergies. It also eliminated a block to weight loss that I needed.
I realize that all of this may sound weird, but if you research it you will discover that it is for real. Our doctors have virtually no training in any of this, so they of of little help. Besides they would prescribe medications that will not work for Candida, because they will mutate and become resistant to treatment. It has to be done through a process of all natural substances.

Hello dale, You are a wonderful person to be caring for your mother. I know how stressful that can be when you put all your effort into caring for someone and yet they don't care about us or our feelings. Sometimes we as caregivers , need a little alone time. Find whatever it is that you enjoy doing and do it. Try listening to some music, watching a favorite movie, or just taking a walk . It really will help to relax you when you are stressed… Take care of yourself or else you won't be able to take care of others..

Thank you. As for work. Stress is there. Especially when the boys did not believe in good hygiene. I have a 16 year old daughter and I am my mother's caregiver. Now I know why I like to spend time with my animals. I finish my AA degree and hoping to start back in the fall for my BA. The building that I work in, has no good air circulation. Bad siuses. I would be grateful for more tps. Thank again. Please stay in touch.Dale

The severity of your allergies can cause issues with your levels. Like anything your body is fighting, it causes reactions to make sure your body has the energy to fight those battles. Your liver can get over zealous about giving you that energy and thus keeps your levels higher. Everyone is different (I know everyone it tired of hearing that) I have to agree with Petals though, it sounds more like a stress or even a bigger issue with your workplace. What kind of work do you do?

I work as a overnight counselor with kids that have issues. Most of these kids do not have good hygiene. The building that I work in does not have good air circulation

Wow, it seems that it is not good for you, but also not good for the kids. That kind of living is not living for people. Isn't there something the administration could do to improve the quality of life and work place issues?

The pollen here in Illinois right now islike snow. I walked through the forest preseve wiht my dogs and the one path wa cover with pollen. I did call my doctor for somethng stronger than the over the counter. The vicks vaper rub as done a world of good. It is going to be a long summer. I do agree with you and Petals. The stress at home has not been esy.btween my mother and daughter, I look forward to going into work nd spending the time wih my pets and not my family. Being my mother's caregiver has not been easy.I love my mom dearly, but she is the biggest pain in the butt. As most everything is a agurement. She will not listen to what I have to say. I ask her to read this book caled "Unfinish Business" by James Van Parrgh, to help deal with the unfinish feelings of anger and unhappiness and dealing with a 16 year old daughter who I would like to drop kick at times.I love her too. At times these two do not seem to care about me. I graduated from the local jr college on May 15th,the only thing I wanted for graduation was to have a dinner at home with my family. That got blown out of the water.Mydaughter had her friends over from the whole weekend. That was the only thing I truely wanted for graduation and it was not respected from my daughter. It has been jus a battle with her and my mom. There are times I really do not know what to do? My friends are far and inbetween. They were never my friends aways. I need to stop and sorry to vent. I am going into work soon. thanks again for listening. if anybody would like to be my friend and help get through the madness, please write. Thanks again.Dale

Your post should have been titled have so much in your life and that is really a glucose raiser. Emotions do a lot and if you are fighting the ones you love that much, the stress is incredible. My mom lives with us and there are times we have issues. Since we are a 3 generation home things can get tense. But you really want to see if there are any ways you can cut that back. It is hard, I know, but you need some calm and peace for yourself. That and a face mask for the pollen. LOL!

Hello Dale,
friends and familys don't always understand what we are going through. Sometimes they retreat, afraid and unsure what they should say or do. Talking doesn't always help them understand. Then there are the people that just don't care, or think we are freaks. If you want to talk to someone, or need a (((HUG))), come back to our family and we might have an idea, joke, hug, or something that might help. I hope you have a better day.

I have year round allergies and it doesn't seem to bother my blood sugar levels at all, sounds like you might be dealing with some stress at work. Stress will keep your blood sugar levels up.
