I have decided to contact a diabetic educator and she called me back she is going to put me on the pump. My sugars are out of wak and she said why am I not on a pump already. I said don't know, but I need to get my sugars regulated. I have an appointment with her tomorrow. If anyone can get my sugars undercontrol it is her! wish me luck! yay!

I started on my pump just a week ago today. I love it already. It still needs some fine tuning but my sugars are looking much better. And I haven't used an insulin syringe for 7 days! The catheter changes may look scary but they're less painful than an injection. Wearing the pump takes some getting used to but it's not bad. Good luck with yours.

Hi Elrond,

How is your pump working for you? I love my pump, it has been doing exactly what it is suppose to do, keeping me in check! I have lost almost 10lbs from counting carbs and watching what I eat. I couldn't be any happier. I feel so much more energized and full of life again, not so tired anymore, and my sugars have gone from 300's to as low as 80 yeah! :) woooooHoooooo! How are your sugars and have you felt a differnce.

Best Regards, God Bless

i love my pump!!!! it's my favorite piece of technology lol!!
so much easier than shots, i don't have to find a restroom to hide in & take a shot. i wouldn't trade it for anything, you'll love it :)
