I recently read an article on www.EverydayHealth.com which has been an absolute eye-opener about a connection between Type 2 and menopause. The article dealt with women whose bodies are still producing insulin but whose bodies are not utilizing that insulin because of the Type 2 and talked about hormone replacement therapy. As an experiment, I started using a 100% natural product called Estroven, available at many stores (it's usually used for hot flashes). Even though I have been taking oral diabetes medication for years, my BG has never been in control until now. I've been between 80 and 150 and before I was consistently over 250 and sometimes as high as 400. I'm feeling great and don't need naps in the afternoon just to get through the day.
