Tested after I ate, 218. Did a second test just after the first 249…What the heck happened, I use the USB.
Another question is there a difference what finger to use, or can I use my palm or forearm ??

That's pretty normal. Home meters are not accurate 100% so with your high blood sugar the results are within the standard accuracy range. It could also be many other things, something on your finger or the strip, temperature, rapidly changing blood sugar, etc. Your meter is approved for alternate site testing but you need to check to see how you need to set it before you test. You also need to bee aware that alternate sites do not give current blood sugar levels, they can be around 20 minutes behind your actual blood sugar.

That's too wierd, I figured blood is blood no matter where you get it from.
It even varies from which finger I get it from…

Think of it like plumbing. If you turn on the hot tap you don't get hot water immediately even if hot water is coming out of the water tank, it takes a while for it to get to you.
