All worthwhile journeys begin with a single step. you can do this! just step outside and walk to the mailbox and back.. then do it again each day until you can go a bit further. the main thing is to just get started in the first place. Don't worry, the neighbors will only think you are expecting an important package :)) What they don't know is the package contains your life.. .run out there and grab it!!

What exactly would you like some motivation in? That is a big broad statement and it would be overwhelming to take it all on at once. What would you like to focus on first? We can help with that, and then we can move on to other things you want help with.

I understand. I was woken from a nap with the results of my blood test labeling me as "diabetic" without a clue what that meant. The first thing I did was go out to buy a meter and test strips to prove my doctor wrong. It's called denial. Until I got past that denial stage I wasn't motivated but now that I know I am truly diabetic (also type 2) I am motivated by my need to lower my weight (aka diet and exercise) and lower my sugar levels (aka diet and exercise). Unfortunately only you can motivate yourself with such concepts of living longer, getting stronger, and avoiding the complications that the disease could bring on if left untreated. Anytime you want to chat, shoot me a message. I can't motivate you but I can listen to your fears and frustrations. There will be good days and bad days and I'm here for both. We are a community of those who share advice and understanding. I don't have all of the answers and doubt that any of us do. Let's work through this together!
