http://www.myrxadvocate.com/?gclid=CIjW-66Hta... Folks. The above link is one that I've found while looking to see if there was a way that people that could not afford to use insulin could somehow make it part of their treatment. While chatting with one of the gals on this site, I came to find out she could not afford insulin, and it has always been a really bad feeling for me to "throw away" more than 2/3rds of a vial every month, and often thought about people that could not find a cheap source. If you have no prescription medical coverage, this site may be able to help you a great deal, so thought I'd pass this along!!

The application is easy and the staff that runs the phones are very helpful. If you qualify, you could pay less than $50 a month for a fast and slow acting insulin (both) for as many doeses as you need. I have to get an appointment with my doctor to see what he recommends and then call them back to finish the paperwork. Check it out. They find programs for a huge list of medicines besides just insulin. So if you are uninsured, low income and can give them a call. I am so thankful for firstflight's help.
