Personally (and honestly) I recommend spending the extra money and purchasing the software and connecting cable for your glucose meter to track and record this information to your computer, laptop or netbook.
This allows you to test yourself and upload this data at any given time, so if you are out and about and unable to do so, or forget to, there is no need to worry.
Most glucose meters now offer this feature, check the documentation that came with your glucose meter or check the manufacturer's website.

Welcome to Diabetic Connect !

You can download log sheets by clicking the link below.
You will need Adobe Reader to open the (pdf) file.

This is a great log book! Thanks. I am printing it now and have it saved to my desktop. I will use it with my spiral notebook. I like the weekly reminders at each page...very nice.

I was recently diagnosed too. If you have access to internet most of the times there are couple of online sites that do that. I am using the site livestrong.com It has a good collection of tool to track for me. I wanted to track my food, glucose and exercise all in one place and found that the site did a good job of keeping track of all that pretty neatly and easily.

I used livestrong for a long time. I really like it. I had a time when I was not on the computer and lost my momentum on it and went back to a log book. But I do like livestrong. They offer a lot of great tracking information.
