Hello everyone I hope that all is well.
Today i call myself trying to help my husband move a few bricks and would you know that about 5 brick fell on my big toe. I started screaming loud. My toe was bleeding and throbing. It doesn't look like it is broken but there is a big black bruise under my nail. my toe hurts so bad that the pain is worse that a toothache. If it keeps hurting then I may need to go to the ER to make sure that it is not broken. have a great nite to all

Please keep us posted on how you are doing. Take your foot
care very seriously. It sounds like an ER visit is the right thing to do. I damaged toe that is left untreated could lead
to major diabetic problems.

I concur with Danni and don't want to mess with your feet. Things that you may not have worried about before become vitally important now. Please let us know how your ER visit goes.

You do need to be careful when it comes to your feet! Infections can happen easily on your feet if not taken care of right away. I have learned that with being diabetic, you have to take good care of your feet. Please get it looked at, it's so much better to be safe than sorry!

Don't wait to go to the ER, you are a diabetic !

Infections, internal bruises and bleeding can create major problems for you as a diabetic, not to mention that the added stress from such an injury can help raise your blood glucose level, it's always better to be safe than sorry as a diabetic, please, go to the ER !
