I thought some of you may be interested in participating in a University of Michigan survey about how patients are using online resources to better manager their health. Here's the information that's been provided to me about the survey.
My name is Debra, and I'm part of a research team at the University of Michigan that is seeking to create better online tools for helping people improve and manage their health. We are currently pursuing a study to understand how people are currently using social websites for health-related activities.
For this study, we are hoping to talk to individuals who:
* Have Type II diabetes
* Are current members of at least one online health community (such as FatSecret)
* Are current members of Facebook
If you think you might be interested, please fill out our screening questionnaire here: http://www.surveygizmo.com/s/255112/s
If you meet the study criteria and complete a one-hour interview by phone and web conference with us, you will receive a $25 Amazon gift card as a thank-you.
Please forward this request to any person or group you think might be interested. Questions about the study can be directed at any member of the research team.
