I everyone. It has been a long time since I have been on the site. I have been battling one thing after another. I had been having stomach pain. After several trips to a couple of doctors they found I have a hernia. Then last month I started with bad pain in my neck, chest and head. The pain went into my left arm. I would get real light headed. I was taken to the ER from work. The ER gave me to pain pill and sent me home. They said to follow up with me doctor. She thought I pulled something. She put me on a couple kinds of meds. By the time I had gone to the ER I had numbness in my left shoulder and arm. I had a MRI done. I went to see a Neurologist. He said that it is MS. I am so tired of doctors and medicene. Since all of this started I have also had times I get very confused. I am also not sleeping all night. There are days I can not seem to eat anything. I was told I need to g back to my other neurologist to conform that it is MS. There are days when I just want to say I quite and give up. Thanks for listening to me. I really need to vent.

Thank you all for the encourgement. Yes I am also diabetic. My blood sugars are not what they should be because I have not been eating. My family is not much support. But I have found a lot of support here. Thank you all. I know that I will get through this. It just seems very hard sometimes. But I will get through.

You will get through! Your attitude and outlook has everything to do with how you move forward. It is hard, but you know you can do it. Be determined. Vow to yourself that you are going to continue to try no matter what. You won't always move forward, but every day is a new day. Start over! We're rootin' for ya!

Hey Susan, welcome back home. What a battle you are fighting, it is incredible. We are glad to have you back so you don't feel like you have to go thru it alone. I can imagine why you want to throw in the towel, it's all wet! Wring it out here, let it dribble on the floor. We'll help you mop it up and face the day. Hang in there...we are here to encourage and support you.

Life is hard enough without feeling like crap, isn't it? I know you must feel so fed up and ready to throw in the towel, but you just cannot do that. As frustrating and irritating as it is to go to doctors, take meds, etc., this is going to be necessary in order for you to feel better and have any kind of quality of life. I hope you will make an appointment with the neurologist today and sit and discuss with him/her the extent of your MS, if that is what you're dealing with, and just how to deal with it. Educate yourself, as you've hopefully done with your diabetes. I pray that you are staying in line with your diabetes (I assume you're diabetic too.), as that is important - imperative - too. I pray too that you have a good support system of relatives and friends that are there cheering you on and ready to help. That's also important. I know those of us here will do what we can to encourage you and support you. Praying for you!

As much as you would like to give in, don't !

Prove it to yourself that you and your will are both stronger than your afflictions, educate yourself on and about your afflictions and what can be done both medically and by you, create a plan of action with your doctor and implement it with the help of others close to you, if possible, or with a support group, either way, to do nothing initiates defeat !

This is a good place to vent, so vent away. It sounds like you have a few of the puzzle pieces and your regular neurologist is most likely the one to put the puzzle together. Hang in there, life is worth the challange.
