I have been a diabetic for over thirty years. I was diagnosed when I was 22 yrs old now I am 54. The Dr told me then that it was hereditary, but now I believe that I was insulin resistant. I have had my share of health problems and ER time. I am now on a shot before every meal and before bed time. I can offer support and feed back on things that worked for me and things that did not.
