I have a problem with warts on my skin. My doctor tells me to ignore them, but because I know they can only really be treated internally, I am wondering if there is a supplement that will prevent them. I did read in Back to Eden that celandine helps. I used as a tea and it works. The only problem is I can't find it anywhere. I am very clean, so it is not from that. Anyone have any ideas?

warts are caused by human papillomavirus (HPV).

Most warts do not need to be treated medically. Most warts disappear on their own. You should definitely see a doctor if the wart causes pain, bleeds easily, changes appearance, spreads easily to other parts of your body, or comes back.

read more here about types and different treatment options.

I have always had the feeling though when people see them that they are disgusted and think of you as being unclean.

I just read the link. It was interesting but it seems that they are gotten mainly through physical contact, towels or shoes. I live alone and don't have any of that. So, I am still wondering. Thank you!
