I was diagnostic diabetic 16 years ago

I went for ofthalmology exam because I can't see good the Doctor send to emergency room for diabetes I was 800 on the text reading when suppose to be 99-120, since then I was started the treatment I have not choice to go back and trying to diet or exercise. 16 years later am using metformin 4 pill a day and still out of control, part of my salary is going to medicine for diabetes. I sugesst you to trying to exercise and diet to loose weight trying to calm your sugar with this first and then later start your medication, starte a program to loose weight first.

Yes, diet and exercise are our first defense against this disease. I know when I was first diagnosed I had no doctor, no medical care at all. I decided that diet and exercise were my only options, and for 9 months, that was all I had. I dropped my numbers by about 120 points, but I still needed help. I am doing better now that I have my meds, but still, without diet and exercise, our meds can't do their job either.
