Hi everyone, I have a small sore on the bottom of my foot. I accidently stepped on a hammer claw this morning. I did not break the skin, but I was having some pain and I looked an saw that I had a bruise, and that it had bled under the skin. Should I be concern about this?
I would like to not have to worry about this. I have just gotten my BG under some control.

Keep an eye on it. My grandmother's really small bump became a major problem becasue she did not take it seriously. It is good that you have an appointment already. :)

Please be careful, mine started with a callouse, then a blood blister, then a hole, when i got to the doctor i had 4 different infections, then the infection tunneled its way thru to the top of my foot and opened up to 3 ulcers. I have been off my foot for 3 months. After going to the wound clinic twice a week, I am just now starting to heal. I came very close to loosing my foot, so please watch this very close, don't make the same mistake I made. Good Luck!

I'm thinking that its a bonus that it didn't break the skin and let bacteria in there…bruising on the foot sure can be a bit uncomfortable though…I think it will likely heal up ok but keep an eye on it and get it checked if any sores or breaks in the skin form…Cant mess when it comes to the feet :)

Hope you feel better soon :)

I think you need to keep an eye on it.Check it daily to be on the safe side. Ulcers can form under callouses and dead dried skin.

If it bugs you go see a Doc if it starts to look like its getting more inflamed go see a DOC
Other then that I would not fret over it , But thats just me
