when first diagnosed with type 2 diabetes i started losing weight in fact had lost almost 40lbs. and now slowly gaining it back.would like to go to agym but can't afford it right now.i walk all the time but does'nt seem to be enough. any suggestions on what i can try or do at home?

Hi mary73,I had the same problem when I was first diagnosed,I found that a work out video like Jillian Michaels 30 day shred works hopes this helps you

Good luck. There seems to be no "trick" to losing weight. Just keep plugging along. I can't afford a gym and don't have space in this apartment for ANYTHING! No coffee table, no end tables, no area rugs, just 2 love seats. Do you have enough room somewhere to lie down? If you do, that might be a good exercise spot for you. If you can get the channel, "Sit and be Fit" is on PBS every day and will start you off gently. Just keep at it. You will be fine, in time.
