I like how your brother thinks…he sounds like a swell guy! I lost my brother back in 1998 so enjoy your times together. I also like you're saying "I can't hug you in person but I can in my mind"…that is awesome!

Whenever I'm with my family I make sure I get a hug from everyone when I leave. I tell them I'm storing them up for the times I don't see them. I'm sure they think grandma's going bonkers, but it really works for me.

What a wonderful concept. I have never hugged myself in the mirror, but I think I just may have to try it. It is said that a person needs several hugs a day to be healthy. There is nothing like that feeling, I have to admit. In our cyber world it is different and there are many here who hug daily. I learned to express it this way from other members here. ((hugs)) When I see that in a communication, I always smile because I know someone is sharing that hug with me.

Had a Preacher come to our church, he said a person needs at least 10 hugs a day to survive. It helps to releave stress knowing you are loved by others. Just got my first 2 hugs this morning from Mays and Shorty, Thank You

I'm glad to hear that both you and your brother are in good, cheerful spirits !
Yes I hug and embrace myself and life every day, my reason is that life itself is a blessing with all of it's amazing beauty and all of it's wonders, a gift worthy of recognition.
Life is simple people make it hard, embrace life and in the process you will embrace yourself.
Enjoy your day !
