Everyone should do at least one of each activity across the site. I'd like to know what books you've read and liked, news articles that you found helpful, videos that you have enjoyed and (mostly) some great recipes.

I try to get my fingers into all of the wonderful things this site has to offer. I don't quite get the video upload part...I am not too savvy in the upload department. I like to watch them though, does that count? LOL
I hope to have some book reviews soon. Have we considered adding a DVD section? I have come across a good one, but I just dropped it into the discussions section.

During the summer of 2004, I read Dr. Bernstein's book on controlling diabetes. A few months later, I began following his diet & exercise program. My blood sugars dropped from around 150 mg/dL average to mid 80's. My energy levels went way, way up. So I am a Bernstein advocate so long as I live with IDDM.

Dr. Bernstein's Diabetes Solution: The Complete Guide to Achieving Normal Blood Sugars, (c) NY: Little Brown Co. 2003

(Google "bernstein diabetes" for more info.)

Do they have to be diabetic related?

Yes, please keep it on topic when it comes to News & Articles, Videos, Product Reviews and Books. However, you should post personal pictures, interest, etc. Thanks. Looking forward to seeing what everyone has.
