Has anyone heard of or used Apple Cider Vinigar to lower blood sugars?

You might try pickles or pickled okra. The vinegar in these items should help. Maybe your child could handle the taste of vinegar that way. Or put a couple spoonfuls on a salad for dressing or something. I've heard it works. I love pickles so I'm going to try it, as well as sticking to vinegrette (sp) dressing on my salads

I have heard people using pure Vinegar and Vinegar tablets to low their blood sugars. I have read articles and some say it works for them and others say it doesn't. I also read something on WEBMD were people are using vinegar to lose weight.

I have also heard this, so I had my son try…He gagged, and sad that he did not like it…I may try the tablets… Thanks for the info…

I used vinegar on a constant basis and I also experiment with it for lower sugars. Never worked for me, but it is very good for digestion. Besides if you are looking to lower your blood sugar I suggest quicky of fast acting.

several people on the site use vinegars to keep their sugars low. I personally don't because I have enough problems with lows but maybe someone will respond that actually does it and fill you in.. :)

Gabby??? Take it away hon!!
