Sometimes after I eat and take a BS level it is sometimes lower than when I took it before a meal, this has got me puzzled. I am new to the medication about 3 weeks will some of the side effects disappear?

I find that when I eat low carb vegetables like brooccoli, spinach, cauliflower, cucumbers, celery, salad and most green leafy vegetables at lunch or dinner my numbers are lower 1 hour after eating. I believe its ok. I don’t worry about it.

Good luck

Are you taking it two hours after you ate? its not unusual to come down two hours after…if its sooner then that and it appears down and not up after eating I would run a test on your meter…that doesn't sound like a correct reading…
