I think one of the most important factors in losing weight is exercise, I did cut back on what I was eating and started eating less carbs but what I did was started walking. Started slow15 minutes then work my way up slowly till I was walking for a hour then started increasing the speed. I walk every night for a hour plus at 2.2 miles a hour. I have lost 75 lbs and as long as I continue walking don't think I'll gain any back.

I have not tried it, but my mom did the regular one for a while. I have to agree, I like fresh foods, and Nutrisystem is not so great for my tastebuds. Maybe they loose weight because they don't eat?!
Seriously, a diet is not the way to go. A life style change that you do a little at a time will do better for you in the long run. I was reading an article the other day that mentioned that 95% of people who loose weight on a "diet" gain it back within a year. Mostly because they don't train themselves to have a healthy lifestyle. So while it might work to jump start your weight loss, I would recommend a meeting with a nutritionist (half the cost of a month of Nutrisystem) and get a personalized set of goals and tools that are just for you. I too have tried all kinds of diets, but I find that my weight goes away best and stays away when I am just eating healthy, correctly protioned meals.

You name it, i've tried it…Nutrisystem did work…very well…although it was a while ago now…I remember the food being better then the Jenny Craig stuff (yuk to Jenny lol)…but you know it is what it is…It worked for me at the time because of the convenience…Of course now its all mail order right? So an easy way to control proportion eating…My husband and I did Atkins one time…man, that one ya lose fast…but…like every diet you have to be careful coming off because it does come back fast…Men seem to lose especially fast with Atkins and you know its kind of a mans way of eating anyway lol…I honestly feel the best life long diet is still weight watchers…but if convenience is a factor Nutrisystem is definitely easy that way! Grab and go…so depends what your needs are I suppose…I didn't find their food bad…but it was quite a few years ago now…

I tried it and it did work at first. What it really is is controlled portions, but as soon as I went off I regained everything and more. I had a good conselor at first and then she left and I did not like the second one so things went south quickly. The second one always made me feel guilty and the meetings were uncomfortable. Besides, by that time I was getting tired of their food.
