what are some quick easy and possibly already prepared snacks that you guys usually eat thats not gonna cause a lot of blood level spikes? Or just in general snacks you tend to go towards? Thankss

Peanuts, Almonds, Walnuts, sunflower seeds, chicken wings, celery, pickels, soy crisps, cheese and my TVP (soy) cakes

sugar fee jello
sugar free jello pudding
sugar free jello mousse (all of these have 60 cals and are low carb as well if I recall correctly)

I also eat string case, nuts, granola bars (90 cal ones). I've eaten the 100 calorie snacks on occasion as well.

I love cucumbers and tomatoes (no dressing just sprinkle some sea salt on them).

These are some of the foods i use for snacks: low fat peanutbutter with stone ground whole wheat crackers.
fresh fruit, String cheese, light popcorn, hard boiled egg,
fresh veggies with fat free dressing. I hope these give you
a few suggestions.

Fruits contain 15 grams of carbohydrate and 60 calories. One serving equals:
1 small Apple, banana, orange, nectarine
1 medium Fresh peach
1 Kiwi
1/2 Grapefruit
1/2 Mango
1 cup Fresh berries (strawberries, raspberries or blueberries)
1 cup Fresh melon cubes
1/8 th Honeydew melon
4 ounces Unsweetened Juice
4 teaspoons Jelly or Jam

personally I like to eat a granola bar type of snack… I usually eat the special K or Kashi ones as they are 15-20 carbs each and they taste great.
