Something as simple as a walk in the park.
around the block or to the store within 30 minutes after a meal can do wonders for lowering you blood glucose level daily.

Form a neighboorhood walking group, set a time and do it together.

Enjoy the sights, take your camera with you, photograph the sights, post the photos online, take your grandchildren and great grandchildren with you, listen to your favorite music as you stroll your way to better health.

In short, make walking the least of your physical exercises, but also the most important.

It's so simple and easy, yet it doesn't seem like exercise at all !

hi all we kno what we need to do doing it isnt as easy on a good day i walk around the house at least 15 min after every meal everything you can do is exercise housework sitting moving your feet anything just try ! ((HUGS)) julie

From what I read, even 30 minutes of gardening burns just as many calories as the same amount of time walking. A little creativity can add to exercise so I'm not doing the same thing over and over. I like the idea of walking around my house for 15 minutes after eating. I'm going to try that especially until it warms up outside. LOL

That's one of the reasons to have or to develope a hobby, it keeps both the body and the mind occupied.
Gardening is also a great stress reliever.

You may say it is easy ,but whan you cant walk from one room to the next without stopping to breath it is not easy.Some times it is next to impossible to do.

Actually I take as much as possible into consideration before posting or making comments.
I understand that everything doesn't apply to everyone, but there is something for everyone !
Don't limit yourself by not exercising some type of way,
any type of physical activity is better than no physical activity at all !

I know you do research before you comment,and I do get a serious workout everyday.I have two grandsons who live with use and ,they believe grandma needs to be active.It is a nightly 30 minute wrestling match with the two of them.One is four the other six, so they can really dish it out.
