I was just wondering if anyone does any weight bearing workouts and Calestenics, spelled really wrong!
I want to incorporate these into my regime. I am 47 and my joints wont tolerate a pounding! My arms are weak, so for now I have been doing push ups and push offs on the wall.
should I be testing my levels even if I do 15 minutes of these type of workouts or wait till I get into a full half and hour?

You should keep an eye on your levels and test as often as you think might be needed. Esp. if you are working out alone and no one will be there to assist you if they drop quickly.

The best exercise for those with joint issues is water exercises in a pool. But if you don't have access to a pool, then the type you are doing are the next best ones to do. You never want to put too much stress on the joints. Those exercises you mentioned in your email to me are GREAT. that gets your muscles working without too much chance of doing harm.
