Gender statistics aside pertaining to the affliction of diabetes,
do women seem to care more about diabets and it's complications or do men ?

And why ?

I thought about this on the way home and I think women care more about diabetes and the complications than men do. Men are to macho to have something like this to happen to them and women are very realistic about it. They are more watchful about what they eat. Just my opinion.

That's a tough question. I had a friend and when they told him he just said I'm not changing anything that I eat now he just didn't want to change. I care about my health because I have a granddaughter I would like to see graduate from school and if she so decides to do it go on to college and see her get married. May not live that long but that is my goal. I would guess it just depends on the person and their attitude. As far as my diabetes I have a possitive attitude and I work hard at it. But that's just me.

That is a tough question.
