I don't know if any of you out there really pray or not, but I do and I know there are several of us out there that can use a prayer. Of course we all can, especially because we or someone we care for are diabetics, but if their is something that's heavily laying on someone and needs a special prayer here is the place to do so.
If you are nervous, write it out. If you are discouraged, lay it out.
Here is the place to lay down your worries, fears or whatever else is heavy on your mind…

"For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks."(Matthew 12:34b)

Love starts from within you before it can be extended out to others !

Is that meaning you have to love yourself first?

Correct, you cannot extend love out if you do not know, understand or practice love, it all starts with you loving yourself first … practice it first on yourself, perfect it, then put it out on the market !

"Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself"—Matthew 19:19.

I do love myself and I love and genuinely care about people, especially my friends here on DC, because I there's an underlying understanding of eachother that we all have here and I like to listen to other peoples concerns, let them be able to get it out and try to help them, even if it's just by listening and praying for them.
Do you find that it's easier to care for other people rather than yourself?

I believe that when you are comfortable with loving yourself that it extends out naturally to others although we may think that we have more love for others than we have for ourselves, you can't love someone else without loving yourself first.
You can care more for someone else than for yourself
(temporarily) until something causes reality or self preservation to set in, but that's a different story !

Gotcha Mays, so your saying that from extending love to others than you must love yourself even if you don't realize it or think so. And I never understood that saying because I have always had a big heart for people and care for them, but there have been times when I hit rock bottom and didn't care about myself at all, yet I loved and still deeply cared for especially one of my sisters and her 2 daughters…that's why I never understood the saying, It didn't apply to me.
