According to some of the things I have read, some diabetes meds can cause weight gain. Myself I have lost 75 lbs, took a little while to do it but had to get rid of it. Hope ya'll didn't find it. I walk every night for a hour, sometimes longer depending on how wrapped up I get in the movie I'm watching, at 2.2 or 2.3 miles per hour.

Weight can be a contributing factor, but not necessarily the only factor. It can be genetic, and even environmental.

I see now that you were asking about gaining weight. I feel it is almost harder to gain weight than to lose it. When I use to try to eat more fattening things to put on weight, I would get sick. They every used to have something called "weight-on" that I tried, and It immediately came back up.

I am like you. i weighed less than 100 lbs. for most of my adult life. I admit to putting on weight after I was 50, but I am not obese. It has to be in our genes.
