New members are joining Diabetic Connect (DC) every day, so why not give them a big Welcome Here Greeting by saying .. Hello !

Everyone here was a " Newbie " at one point, and for many seeking help, being new in the neighborhood can be intimidating, maybe even frustrating, so many questions, very few answers and no friends or family.

When you see or notice that someone is new here, why not say hello and introduce yourself ?

It takes no time to do so and can make a world of difference to someone by making them feel wanted as well as welcomed !

Offer your help, advice, guidance and support right from the start.

Let's make their initial experience with Diabetic Connect a most pleasant one !

Welcome to the Diabetic Connect Family !

That is one thing i really liked from the start when i first signed up..the people here are friendly and helpful.. I was very hesitant about joining up when i first found it here.. so many of these forums that you visit have clicks that if you haven't been there for a bit they won't even bother answering your questions…Thank you to everyone!!

My reason for saying let's seek them out and welcome them, make them feel welcome, at home, accepted, etc !

Thank you on behalf of all new members, we should all be a great big welcoming committee for new members, what a sight that would be !

You are always at the front door of Diabetic Connect with a warm smile and the extended hand of friendship (DC) would not be the same without you !

I attempt to do that with every newcomer I find.

Wish there was a way to know who joined today so I could welcome them.

Thanks for the suggestion
