I was able to get help for my insulin directly from the manufacturers through a company called The Rx Solution. I am on insulin (Lantus and Humalog) There are patient assistance programs through certain manufacturers and with their help it was a really simple process. My medications get sent directly to the doctors office every three-four months. I would recommend them to anyone. There number is (888) 823-0042 and their website is www.rxsolution.net
Hope this helps!

I was able to get help for my insulin through a company called Prescription Assistance 123. The name of the patient advocate that assisted me was Mark Brown. I am on insulin (lantus and Humalog) He signed me up for the patient assistance program through the manufacture and it was a really simple process. I receive my medications in the mail every three months. I would recommend him and this company to anyone. His number is (888) 507-9123 or his direct number is (561) 288-9044
Thanks Mark and good luck to everyone!

Hi. I am in need of help ASAP. I am a type 1 diabetic of 25yrs. I currently use a Minimed 722 insulin pump, mine however has malfunctioned and is no longer under warranty, my insurance will not pay for another one. I am on a loaner pump from Minimed, however, my time is expiring and I have yet to come up with the money to buy another one (cheapest is $3600). I am looking for someone willing to donate their unused pump to me, so I can continue my insulin regimen. I do not want to go back to shots, since my Ha1c had been the best ever on the pump. I have done a little research, with no luck. My finances are strapped, and I can't find any site that will donate. Thank you for your time.

while these links are not for free products, they both offer assistance with cost of test strips…(must have insurance, but the programs will cover part of co-pay so that you pay only $15/month)

accu-check (new program): https://www.accu-chekconnect.com/connect/diab...

freestyle promise program: https://www.myfreestyle.com/en_US/application...
