http://www.pparx.org/

lists different drug makers and their free programs for those without insurance.

you might also try the places like wal-mart, target, supermarkets and even walgreens that now offer $4 generic meds.

Have you spoken with your Dr.office about this? They have
programs with various drug companies that can help. Is
there a free clinic near you? Salvation Army operate several
in different cities. Check with your church. Many churches
have contacts with outreach resources.

Go to the website for the particular medicine. Let them know you cannot pay for your medicine that they make; they can sometimes help with that. If you take any other medicines, got to their website and so on and so on.

I know that if you go to Walgreens, CVS, or Walmart, and Kmart they have a discount card that helps to lower the cost by a large percentage. Also, if they don't have the discount card in your area simply ask them what they know of that may help. That should help until you can go to your local Family and Children social services to seek assistance. I know here in Indiana I don't have insurance either but I am applying for HIP which is an insurance similar to medicaid. Also, your local hospital may have a program as well!

BTW… If you tell me were you live I can do a little research for you and tell you what may be available to you!

Where i live they have a health center called Aunt Martha's and they take people without insurance and help with prescriptions.
Is there something like that in your area?
Maybe the hospital could give you some information on what is available in your area.
I dont why i have to replies, i was unable to delete one of them.
