Good luck with the fibro. I too have it and right now the only thing I can take for it is Celebrex. I first tried Lyrica and that raised my BS levels so high I had to quit taking it. My Dr. had me on Cymbalta for a while but after about a year she took me off that because she said I didn't have signs of depression so she felt I shouldn't be on it. The combo of the cymbalta and celebrex did help so I am going to discuss starting the cymbalta back up. As for the pain going away with meds…it does not go completely away but it does however become more bearable. One of the best things you can do is exercise. Even on days when you don't even want to get out of bed because you hurt so bad, push yourself to do so and even if all you do is a walk around the block, it does help. Oh and long hot baths help relieve some of the pain as well. Good luck and hope you find a little comfort from the pain each day.

I know how your feel loosing weight isnt the most easiest thing to do, it take lots of hard work and determination to do so. Im proud of you for what you've done so far, I cant wait until the weather breaks so I can ride my bike back outside daily in the sun, not the snow. But for now I exercise indoors as much as I possible can and continue to eat the correct way too. Keep up the good work.
