We all have this one fault in life, some times through our actions and attitudes, we take Today and try to turn it into Yesterday or rush Tomorrow ahead of it's time.

It's not easy some times and it takes a big person to admit faults, and many never do !

Any takers or comments on this subject ?

Thats the problem with todays people in society, we take it for granted, we all need to learn how to forgive and watch out for one another no matter what. Cause in the end we leave this life all alone. So be grateful for the things you have in life, no matter how little or big. Its better than no life at all.

You are very right. That means spending time with your loved ones and not take them for granted. My niece died a year ago and I was very fortunate to become extremely close to her, but my mom didn't take the time to see the kids; she regrets it and is trying to make it up in her own ways. The days and the years pass to quickly and sadly, alot of them get wasted away. I've learned even more to stop, reflect and savior those great, special moment. You never know what's going to happen - the impossible, the unexpected…nobody's invincible, not even a 2 year old.

As painful as life can be, it's still enjoyable if you take the time out to appreciate it !

Mays this is truly the angst of life, we are so geared toward getting to the next step that we often trip over our own feet by not taking today for the fullest it can be. I have more time now to reflect on things, and i can say that we all need to take time to smell the roses, hold the people we count dear and embrace life.

if may at time give us lemons, but we need to enjoy the lemonade we get from it.

enjoy your day

That reminds me of my 50 yr. old cousin who wrote to her younger sister—"Why were we so anxious to Grow Up, we should have enjoyed our youth more!" Guess that is always true of human nature—looking too far ahead or behind, and not making the most of today! PR

How does that old saying go,
" Youth is wasted on young people " !

It's the pleasant memories that bring a smile to your face when the mind opens and browses the files of one's life !

I remember those days, Pat…Now, as I am getting older, I want to put the brakes on, and slow the passing of time down; unfortunately, it doesn't work that way…We live, we learn, then we die; Sad!

That's deep. You are right, I think too often we forget to live for the moment; the here and now; reality. I have lots of faults everyday and I will admit them to myself, but sometimes it's different when someone else calls you out.
Sorry I may be off subject from what you meant, that's just what came to my mind. :)
