Does anyone find that sitting at the computer for hours like I do makes your sugar low? Is it possible that this could be one way to help lower BS? IS it like exercising? Because your moving your hands, arms,& body. Yesterday, I ate late breakfast about 11:00 a.m. then I didn't eat again until 11:00 p.m.. Because I wasn't hungry. I realized that I was on here so long that I didn't feel anything until I got up and I felt ill, then that when I knew my sugar was low. Have this happen to anyone else?

I don't remember it happening to me, but about 2 hours is as long as I can go on the computer withiout moving around. Usually have to take a "pit stop" and/or snack on something (right now celery sticks). Be careful, Mary about going too low!

Whoever wrote "addicting" as one of the tags above, I agree! DC IS addicting for sure!

I can't say that its happened to me. Diabetics need to eat every four hours or so to maintain bg levels. Some eat 3 meal and a snack. Some eat 6 small meals a day. Its whatever works best and what your diabetes care team advises.

It has been proven that the inactivity of your body while sitting in front of the computer is the same as sitting in front of the television, no activity, no exercise !

Except while web surfing you are providing movement by typing and moving your body slightly.

Try swinging or shaking your legs, tapping your foot or other types of body movement while surfing the internet, any activity is exercise and allows the body to consume calories, even if you get up every few minutes and walk to and from another room helps.
To the human body, movement is exercise .. !
