I am currently on the Medtronic/Minimed 522. Started using a pump in 1997 or 1998 with the Minimed 506 or 507. Started the Sensor about 6 weeks ago. The fact that the sensor communicates with the pump really makes a difference. Also, sometimes it seems like changing the pump and or sensor is more difficult than it needs to be.

After many weeks of research I narrowed my choices down to the Onetouch Ping and the Minimed Paradigm 722 Insulin pumps.
My final choice was the OneTouch Ping due to being able to control all aspects of operation from Both the Pump and the Remote Meter Unit which allows me to keep the pump hidden when necessarry.
Do your research thoroughly and weigh all of your options pertaining to the pumps you have in question and most importantly, please DO ASK QUESTIONS !

Check out these links if you haven't already done so.
