I was browsing the web and I saw a blog about a Pelikan Sun lancing device. It is a device about the size of an I-Pod that contains both lances and strips. It holds both of them and it seems to automatically use both. It is no longer sold in the US, no reason given. I have always wondered if there wasn't something that could be developed that could prick your finger and give you a reading at the same time. It would be so much easier. This device was made in Germany and looks like it would be quite expensive. But I was curious if anyone has ever heard of this or something simular

Sorry, I went back and watched the videos and it has only a disc with 50 lancets in the device - no test strips. I rithought I had read where it held the test strips too, but that was just wishful thinking. I think I saw nos. on the picture of the device, but were only the nos to adjust the force of the device. They claim it is much less painful to use, but so do lots of other devices.

I have never seen a device that does both. I called a friend
who is our diabetes center. She said no one there had either.
