It sounds as if you are doing what you can. Try for set
meal and snack times. If you eat a late night snack try
for protein such as string cheese or a small amount of
peanut butter with a whole wheat cracker or two. Let
your Dr. know about this if the numbers are high.
You might need an Rx changed, or an adjustment to your
food plan. It takes time so hang in there.

You are doing a bunch of stuff right! Just eat your meals and snacks on a regular schedile as possible, but don't skip meals. Keep in contact with your Dr. How are your levels the rest of the day? Keep it up, you are on the right path.

be patient it takes time to heal. we do so much damage to ourselves over many years that it takes time to get it back on track. so just keep it up. hope and faith is the last thing ppl loose.

It takes a little time, diabetes doesn't happen overnight and neither does consistent positive results.
Stick with your program and the results will come.
Every time you skip or eliminate a step, you set yourself back, stick with it and keep going forward.

Never skip a meal (can increase your blood glucose level)
Have totally changed my eating habits to a much healthier diet, but I do skip meals …

Try to be in time (our body has internal clock, don't disturb it)
I am NOT on a regular schedule…YET!!!

Not necessary to totally eliminate sugar (but keep up your carb count)
I have eliminated sugar…

For diabetes diet and carb count in a simple form visit

You seem to be doing everything the right way, keep up the good work and don't slack up on your schedule. Start with baby steps and before you know it your doing what your suppose to do.

Well as I am learning, having a schedule is a great help, keeps the body on an even "kill" because it's getting the same things at the same times and your body adjusts to that and starts using what it needs when it should. Also, I LEARNED HARD… that skipping meals is VERY Bad. (sorry for the caps.. just emphasizing) I use to only eat once a day because of a stomach problem and it causes your sugars to bounce all over cuz there is no schedule to ur diet and working in with ur exercise etc. Like putting a baby on a schedule is how I been thinking of it.. just gotta regress sometimes. lol. Hope this has been a help some and hope it calms down for u… plus as soon as I find an article that was sent to me about morning high sugars.. I'll post it for u. Good luck, Nicki
