I just got out the hospital and was told to make an appt with my PCP.I ended of with my appt being in March my original appt. I told them about my BG being out of control and that I need to see doc right away. Its sad to not have any insurance and no job. I guess I will just have to wait for my appt. I just wanted to vent my frustration about the unjust treament of those who have to rely on the county for help.

Oh yeah, and what about the specialists that you are urged to see right away, even if you have insurance; you get an appointment for no earlier than 4-6 months…And they do not commit to a diagnosis' anymore.. Why?
Think about it. Health care, covering their a..es, and passing the buck as far as they can to their fellow physicians. It's just a game to them, that benefits only them, and their partners. Certainly not beneficial for the patients.

Gee why don't you tell us how you REALLY feel Cricket! I would say LOL, but it's really not funny. [This would make a good post for Piss N Moan #2]

Yes that really is bad, the county makes you wait so long even after your their in the office, but those are the things you have to do and the hoops you have to jump thru when like me, you don't have any insurance. Hopefully it will all work out for you, it did for my me.

I can understand you frustration. Do you have a diabetes care clinic you could just phone and see if they can help you
and than they can contact your Dr.?

Are there any free walk in clinics in your area?

Howdy Rhonda
THAT REALLY SUCKS! I don't know your situation so I don't know if this would or could work for you. Perhaps you could call the Dr office every day ask if they have a cancellation that day and ask if you could be seen during that time. Maybe the office staff would get the idea you want to be seen sooner and may even call you when they have a cancellation. I pray you get seen sooner than March! Best regards ~James~

I understand is is stressful my grand baby is on the state and its hard to get an apt for her in a quick way and sometimes she will have to go two three times to get something taken care of where if need something I get in right away and get it taken care of the first time.If it was not so expensive to add her to my ins 150.00 a week I would have her on mine. What can you do.
