I seek input from other diabetics in voiceing our opinions to law makers concerning sweetners and other additives or products which might cause addtional health problems to diabetics.

Where can we start? I find that most of the time it is pointless to write, because I am only one voice. Would petitions be more effective?

I have never done this kind of thing before but I am very interested. I have been researching artificail sweeteeners and have not liked anything I have read so far. How do we start? What do we want to accomplish? If we strike with a common goal, it will be much more effective, yes?

I agree with you completely! I did not see anything about this on the ADA site. I did find this site, that may be helpful:
http://www.cspinet.org/reports/chemcuisine.htm. My niece is in her second year of law school. She wants to practice health law, so maybe there's hope for the future! I'll ask her about this. Courtney's been one of my biggest supporters.

I LOVE this site you posted. It is easy to use (hard to pronounce everythng...lol) I am going to be getting a list of the no-nos and take it with me so when I do purchase something I can alteast be armed with better understanding.
