Your life is precious !
So it's time to become selfish !

Diabetes is strong so you have to be stronger.
Your life, mind and body belongs to you, take control and fight for your life, one moment of weakness can become a major setback.
Your mind and will power coupled with your desire to live and your Diabetes tools, info and support will help you live a much more fulfilled life
with diabetes.
You cannot give up or give in, educate yourself, join a support group, talk about diabetes, as you learn, educate others about diabetes.
Plan your life, plan your meals, plan your defense, there are no losers, only winners and that's what you are, a winner !
So, go ahead and be selfish, you know what you want and it's there for the taking …
Take as much .. " Life " .. as you can handle !

Being selfish can be a good thing …
Spread the word.

You go!!!
There is nothing out there that can really stop a person from enjoying their life except fear and ignorance.
So if you follow the advice of your diabetic team, keep your spirits uplifted in the shadow of diabetes, you can be the winner. In fact even though there are many of us that have this disease, we are winners with the support of friends, family, and those around us that can help us.
So…yes!! Be that selfish person who fights for their happiness and their health over adversity, ignorance of others, and the stigma of this disease!
Live life now! And blessings to all of us!!!!!

I learned years ago if you want to be available to others, first
you take care of yourself. If you put yourself first and take care of your health. You will be there and be strong for family, friends
and others that need you.

I agree spiritwalker,
We have to take care of ourselves…I use to feel that that was being selfish, but I don't feel that way anymore…Not at my age anyway…I feel that I have lived long enough that I deserve to take care of me for a change…
