I was so excited to see the Dr. today. I was diagnosed back in August. At that time my A1c was 6.8. I have worked really hard, have lost 30 lbs, watch my carbs, have exercised…and ta daaaahh! My new A1c is 6.0! My Dr. was so pleased with ,my progress and I am as well. I know it sounds wierd…but my Dr and I agree, that finding out I was diabetic was the best thing that ever happened to me, because it made me wake up and start taking care of myself.

Congrats Suzy, that is great! If you keep it up, and I bet you will, the next time you have it checked, it should be even lower. :-)

Congratulations keep up the good work. My A1C went from 14.1 to 5.6 in about 7 months. I made a lot of changes to my diet and it has paid off.
