Hey guys, saw my Dr. today for lst post-op visit since my surgery last Tuesday. Disolving stitches will take care of themselves. My leg is quite red from tape blisters. They want to itch. Anyone know if you can put anything on that for relief. I also ended up with 2 big bubbled blood blisters that I had my husband cover. Dr. Said they will go away but I want to make sure they accidently won't get punctured or I will be in a world of infection. Finally got ok for in-home physical therapy 3x week so that is good. Only problem I have is getting in and out of cars. My van is too high so we have to ask for rides which really goes against my pride at times.

Also, better news on Deadra. They are going to put a port in around 20th and do a pet scan a day or 2 later and then give her 2 strong chemos. One will definately make her lose her pretty long blonde hair but she told me "it will grow back". She sounded so much better and such a more positive attitude. So all your prayers are helping and I am so thankfull for all of you. Thank you for everything and your support of her and me!!! I am a little less stressed now. I do have to see my Dr. tomorrow regarding my blood sugar and will keep you posted on that. Love you all. Kathy

So glad you are feeling less stressed. Remember, when you ask for help and accept it you are giving a gift to the person who helps you. The helper experiences the joy that comes with their giving of self; please don't deprive them of that opportunity. Ask for as much help as you need and accept all that others can provide.

I agree totally with what you say as well as the blessings we receive from prayer, those who have asked in our behalf reaps blessings also and most of all we need to praise God for his answers and help. Thank you. You put in into the right words. Kathy

I will be keeping you and your family in prayer. I would
check with your local pharmacist about something for
the itching that won't cause you any problems. He knows
all your meds. Hugs

I will and my Dr. suggested just vaseline around the incisions that are healing with disolving stitches as it may take enough itch out while healing. Thank you and I will check with pharmacist if I can't find anything that works. Kathy

KAthy,
So glad to hear all your good news. I absolutely believe in the power of prayer. I will continue to pray for you all. I hope your BS numbers are good tomorrow.
I have turned over a new leaf today…I am going to be very careful what I eat so that I can go off meds. Exercise too!
Hugs,
Sal

I sure hope and wish you luck and my prayers will be with you that you can get off meds. I had better news today. I don't have to go on insulin. My Dr. is increasing my glybride and feels that we can get it lowered and up to par with the diet changes I have made from all of you. To me that is fantastic. Thanks, Kathy
