You do the best you can. Did your diabetes team give you a
food plan with various options? Always feel free to phone
them if you are having problems they will try to help. Exercise
is the best way to keep your numbers in control other than a
good food plan to follow. Good luck.

Don't be so hard or strict on yourself. Count the carbs, try smaller portions, and fit in some exercise. Of course check with your Dr. and keep up to date on your meds. Harlens a sissy!! I used to eat 3 pizzas!!LOL
Hang in there, it will come.

It sounds like you have several issues to be concerned with but you should still be able to find plenty of things to eat. May take more work, you might have to do some experimenting and substituting, but you might be pleasantly surprised! Look for different food lists, etc. on line… Good luck with it!

All foods are allowed just in smaller portion sizes my Dr. told me and so has the the Diabetes Specialist. So I can't understand where you are having trouble with the Food issue. Check out the Betty Crocker's Diabetes CookBook it is a good one and it also helps with Heart concerns too. If you need to ask me any personal question just drop me a line in the inbox and I will get back to you as soon as I am online the next time.
