Lets look at this ladies statement…"Brewers Yeast will make Diabetes go away"..well, then My question would be..Why did she say she is a Diabetic??? Think about it, if she takes Brewers Yeast and it makes diabetes go away..then I'm thinking she wouldn't tell anyone she is diabetic!!
Bottom line is..there is no cure for diabetes YET..and anyone who tells you there is, is simply lieing to themselves and whether meaning to or not deluding you with false hope.Your best bet is to eat healthy, exersize, and listen to your Doctor.:)

Hey Retro -

I hate to tell you this, but there is nothing in this world that will make the big "D" go away. All we can do is manage it with diet, exercise and medication. If you get the diet and exercise part down right, you may decrease or even eliminate the medication for a while. But, because this is a metabolic disease, there is no way to get rid of it permanently - yet.

Brewers yeast is good for one thing, brewing. There is nothing that will make diabetes go away. There are a lot of things you can do to control it though. Watching sugar consumption is one component but far from the only one or the most important one. There is a wealth of info here and on other message boards but in a nutshell, diet and exercise are the keys to type 2 with special focus on carbohydrate consumption since carbs are the culprit for raising blood sugar.
