I had numbness and pain in my right arm and chest last night and went to the er to have it checked out. They said I was ok after a few tests and lab work that shows if your heart is acting up.

I take baby asprin every day and I am glad I do.

Hi everyone,
I have been in the er before and in the hospital for a week a year ago for similar symptoms. I will not take it for granted believe me. I have always been told to come back if it happens again.

I, too have real bad acid reflux which plays havic on my throat causing pain in my chest.

I have been to the ER twice with the same type of symptoms but it turned out my heart was fine but I was having acid reflux and that can mimic a heart attack. The nurses and drs told me to come and get checked out any time I felt like that because it could be something else the next time. Glad you are OK Turtle. Betsie

How scary, Elrond. Listen to him, Turtle!!! I sure don't like the place you are staying. Seems like every week something else happens. Be careful, ok? S2

We're all glad you're OK, Turtle. If you have the same symptoms again, don't assume that everything is OK again; get it checked out. It could be more serious next time. I almost ignored heart symptoms once because I wasn't sure. Due to the delay, I actually died on the way to the hospital. Only excellent paramedics pulled me back. If they had been 5 minutes late getting to my place, I wouldn't be typing now. We want you with us for a long time :)
