Wow, hubby gave me two gifts that were on my wish list to help me get healthier. I am so grateful for him and his support. Hope others out there have been equally blessed or more so.

I went to see my youngest son and his wife (and 2 dogs and a cat) for Christmas. Since I live near Chicago and he lives in Madison the visit depended on the weather. I went on Wed, since they predicted snow/freezing rain on Thurs, and didn't come home until today (Sun.). What a great time,- and they gave a variety of sugar-less candy along with other things.

Yes, our oldest daughter and her hubby braved the COLD and came down to eat with us, I was able to get the whole meal on the table, before I had to put on my O2, then we laughed and laughed over everyone getting their feet, mine included, in all of that O2 tubing—-Jack even told of about "pulling me off of the pot—" and I brot up—in "midstream even" we laughed even harder!!

It was so SPECIAL as it is the first time that one of our 4 kids was RELAXED in my presence after all of this emotional illness etc—-I am still THEIR MOM and now we can all BELIEVE IT!! Thank you, Dear Lord!! Pat R

Yes I got a great gift my son and his girlfriend came from 5 hrs. away for x-mas. I had not seen him for almost 6 months
( he is 20 ). So my gift is having him here for about a week and seeing him healthy and happy !!! It just would not be Christmas without him here. Hope everyone Has a Great New Year also !!!!!

Happy to hear you have someone supporting you and helping along the way :)

My hubby and I dont do Christmas gifts because we feel we pretty much gift ourselves all year long :) So we like to concentrate on family and old traditions during the holidays…and the kids of course :)

Hope you all had a wonderful day!

I agree with Hinboyz3 the best gifts are the ones that are all the love from family and wife and support and encouragement from all.

Its been a long hard year for hubby and I, but we've held on to the best gift that we could give to one another. Just all the love and support and encouragement is great. Gifts are great don't get me wrong, but the little things are what I like most. Happy Holidays and many more to come.
