Anybody know how to cook a ham??
I'm not a good cook so I need some help with this…

Harlen, I had no idea you were a chef! Haven't done a ham in a long time, but I remember using cloves…on the whole clove, it kind of looks like a thumb tack. You press the "sharp", pointed side INTO the ham so only the top "button" shows, to get the flavor into the meat. How did your ham come out? S2

I learned from my mother to mix some yellow mustard in with the brown sugar for the glaze…MMMMmmmmm Good!!!

Hey, mustard, I Love mustard so will try that one next time, the marischino cherries poured over the top, after the cloves powder and brown sugar treatment, was so good! I love ham anyway!!! hope no one got snowed in or out on the road of traveling! Out oldest daughter and her hubby came down, they had 2 and 3 ft. drifts, we had none, but the roads had been cleared off, so had a great time!! Pat R

For me the best way to do a ham is
1/2 cup honey 1 small jar red chaires
1/2 cup brown suger 1/2 cup reg suger
1/2 doz cloves or clove powder
1 can slised pinapple
Mix all but chairesand clove if holeand pinapple, cut cris cros like 1 inch a part put in roasting pan put clove in ham spike down
pur mix over ham bake at 300 for 90 min coverd bast every 20 min and take cover off after 90 min put pinapple rings on ham bake at 350 15 min ham done
