Julie, at least you didn't put a post on here about "Red Wind" and diabetes like I did…Hahahahah. Talk about feeling like an idiot. But, I have said, they need to add a delete button, and spell check onto this site…LOL

I too want to wish everyone Happy Holidays. I love hearing all the snow stories. I live in the south, so we rarely ever get snow in the area where I live. It does make it seem more like Christmas when you have some snow. I love to have a fire going, Christmas music playing, and, look outside and see snow falling!

Me too! I grew up in New York, and as a kid I remember going out at night, and standing under the street light on our country road, looking up at the big flakes coming down, and sticking my tongue out to catch the flakes. It was so peaceful and quiet, you could hear the snow falling. A bowl of snow and some chocolate syrup was a winter staple. Could go on for hours about all the great memories of snow and a kid.

My Bulldog LOVES the snow…she wont come in unless I gather her up a snowball to bring in the house…She plays with it and eats it until its gone…she's like a little kid excited to see the snow lol

That's cute, Deb. My Bella has not seen the snow, but I'll bet she would like it. She loves to eat ice. Every time she hears someone getting ice from the freezer, she comes running, waiting for a piece to fall on the floor, when it does, she grabs it and runs with it…LOL

Bella's must all be alike…Mine comes running for the ice tray too!..In the summer I freeze her giant chunks of ice and put them in her kiddie pool…she attacks it for hours LOL…good play for a hot day :)

Oh, I could too Jim. I lived in Indiana for several years growing up, and I really enjoyed getting out and walking through the snow, getting into snowball fights. We had a blast. My grandparents had a sleigh, and when we would have some snow here, they would get out the horse and sleigh, put bells on the horse, cover up with a quilt, and go for sleigh rides. Just like in the movies!! Such fun. And, I too remember making snow cream when I was a child!!! Great stuff, we thought anyway…LOL

Merry Christmas. Happy Hannukah. Blessed Kwanzaa. Happy Solstice. And a Happy 2010 to all!!!

Baking Christmas cookies for a family gathering and so far have resisted eating the results - just a teeny tiny taste now and then to make sure they're alright. : )

We were visiting friends in Kentucky yesterday when my brother called to warn us of the storm coming so we packed up and "headed to the barn". It took us 15 hours to get home - through rain and then slippery snow. Right now it is not snowing in allentown, PA but it is still in the forecast. At least we are home:).
